Uganda Bound!
On May 1, we are taking a team of ten back to Uganda! It's our first trip back since 2019, so we are excited about reconnecting personally with our African partners and holding several days of clinic as an outreach to the community. Here's an itinerary so that you can pray us through our week:
Sunday afternoon - Monday evening: travel
Tuesday: H3 board meeting, recovery, and trip to the market
Wednesday: mini-clinic at Zana boarding school
Thursday - Saturday, 8:30-dark: clinic days
Saturday: marriage conference
Sunday: church fellowship with New City
Sunday night - Monday afternoon: travel
Please lift up the work of H3 especially over the next week! We'll keep you updated as much as we can from in-country, using email, our website, and social media, but here is a preliminary list of requests for which you can pray:
Safety in travel for our team of ten, coming from North Carolina, Alabama, and Texas
Saturday's marriage conference: for Linda and Paul McDonald as they lead as many as 50 couples
New City Church: this clinic is their primary outreach to their community and will impact hundreds if not thousands. Pray for the church members as they mobilize and plan for this clinic.
African Bible University, Westminster Theological College, Zana Community Church and other organizations will send workers to our clinic. Please pray for our partnerships with these other organizations to bear fruit.
Ugandan healthcare providers will join us on clinic days. Pray especially for our long-term partners.
H3 Uganda leaders as they serve as the vision for our organization and work out all the logistics of our trip.
Health of the team, and protection from COVID. We will need negative COVID tests to both enter and exit Uganda.
Pray for the good news of Jesus Christ to be proclaimed and for lost souls to be redeemed!
We've included a report from H3-Uganda coordinator Robert Kalenzi. This is some of the good work that has been developed in country even when the US teams were not able to visit!
