We extend the gospel by supporting what God has already started.

We are a group of Christians in the United States who are committed to supporting ongoing work in Uganda and the East African community. We run medical clinics, support small business development and local agriculture, and share our faith using a network of missionaries, educators, and health care providers already on the ground in the local area.

Meet our U.S. board members.

  • Mike McDonald

    Mike McDonald

Michael McDonald, DO, is the founding board member of Heads, Hearts, and Hands. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree from Covenant College, his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and residency from Brooke Army Medical Center’s Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. He’s been working in emergency rooms in his area since 2010 and served as director of two rural ER’s. Mike’s long-standing friendships with missionaries in Kampala led him to lead an exploratory trip in 2012, during which he met Ugandan contacts that set up an impromptu medical clinic where he saw 300 patients in a day. These Ugandan contacts have developed into friends that have guided Mike in the development of H3 as we branch out in our services to reach new areas of need and more people groups in East Africa.

  • Wade Coleman

    Wade Coleman

A graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, Wade Coleman’s ministry years have been spent in service primarily as the senior pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bryan, Texas. Since 2003, Wade has invested in leading the church as a Gospel Community which loves the works of Christ and extends them to the community, campus, and culture of Bryan and College Station. His passion for the gospel and expertise in ministry make him an adept leader for the spiritual side of what we do.
